SWEET! I just LOVE 250r's! I want to get one for the next dune quad, but I am hoping to do an ESR or Packard 350 PV (330 BB cylinder with 4mm stroker crank) with super aggressive dune/drag porting and trx11 pipe!

Although I cant help but think it would be really cool to do an r with a cr500 engine in it. I would also love to do a YFZ chassis with a banshee engine it it too. I can smell the 2 stroke already...yum...

Good point! With an argument like that he might just want to put a stock motor in his machine instead. haha

got the 310 going and it pulls alot harder than what it did. it comes on pipe much lower than what it did its a arm puller for sure the jetting is still off on top. I sure didnt think a 310 could run that good

Nice man, that sounds cool. After spending all the time I do on my stock motor YZ250, I can for sure believe that the 310 could run really well. Some guys are getting 52-55hp (stock at 45-46ish) that is reliable and rideable and out of their 250cc 2 stroke mx bikes, so 310cc (24% more displacement) could very well make some impressive numbers (especially torque) if done right.

If you ever feel the need to ride something that will make you a believer in the potential of what I would call big small bore based 2 strokes ride a late 90's to early 2000's year KTM 380SX. They feel like a 250 that has been built to the max! They are still really revvy and mid-top end happy but they are making power that is in 500cc territory stock. They are a strait up PISSED off motor. Lots of fun for sure!

Did you see that 250r last week on Craigslist for $350.00? It had a crack in the case.

Was it a trike or quad?
