Post Back to the gravel pit. Reply with quote
I rejoined the employed today. My former employer decided they needed me back, so I went. I'm kinda sad and happy at the same time. My self-worth has really gone up and getting paychecks again will be nice, but then I'll really miss not having to go to work everyday. Oh well. Rolling Eyes

She's decided that she'd just rather sit on the back of one of these:

I think you just hit the nail on the head. That and being a passenger gives her the benefit of being able to see more of the scenery. That's okay. One bike is cheaper than two. And I occasionally get a back massage while riding. So all is good. Wink

Maybe she will ride her own bike if you can figure out a way to mount a roll cage and some seat belts on it for her. haha

Troy just finished his last day with FedEx today. Man, that company went sour BIGTIME this year. Most of what you now pay for (includes UPS) is not even handled by the employees anymore, but a THIRD PARTY company.
Guess thats there way of not having to have endorsed drivers or pay there employees benefits. Rolling Eyes
Troy starts another job on Mon.
3 jobs in one year is more than he has worked in the 17 years we have been married Shocked

Well, at least he's staying employed! Good for him. Lots of folks have been out of work for a long time.

So true. I havnt had anything to do for well over a year now, and it sucks. At least it looks like I have a job to start on monday though. I have got to tell ya I am not sure what it is going to feel like to get a paycheck again!!! I am hella excited to leave my bum status and actually do something all day long.

Well, I guess they're planning on keeping me for awhile this time. Last time they brought me back on hourly and today I was told that they had submitted my new pay plan to upper management for approval. They won't tell what it is yet though. Confused
